Tottenham Hotspur appear to have some thinking to do over some of the players in their squad.
The Lilywhites have made a poor start to the new season, and are already 10 points off the pace in the Premier League.
On Tuesday they were thrashed 7-2 in the Champions League by Bayern Munich, which has seen a number of players come in for criticism, as well as manager Mauricio Pochettino and chairman Daniel Levy.

Centre-half Jan Vertonghen was brutally exposed by the potent Germans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which will be a real worry considering his early season form.
The Daily Mail reported earlier this week that talks are now underway between player and club about a new deal, but perhaps reluctantly, Spurs ought to be thinking about moving the Belgian on.
TBR’s view
Vertonghen will turn 33 in April, and his best years are behind him.

The £100,000-a-week ace (Spotrac) has been an absolutely brilliant servant for the club since joining back in 2013, but perhaps they need to overlook sentiment here and get someone younger in.
Spurs have been woeful defensively this term and an overhaul is needed.
Vertonghen’s form personally has been a concern, and surely many Spurs fans would hate to see the Belgian become a shadow of his former self.
