Andre Gray – Burnley

With Stoke’s strikers failing to perform this year, a striker will be high on the list of priorities. The need for added dynamism and pace to supplement the creative players behind the striker, makes Andre Gray a perfect fit. Gray has scored 25 goals this season in the Championship for Brentford/Burnley, finishing the season with a winners’ medal also.

His ability to torment defenders with his pace and direct style of play has allowed Gray to take the transition from non-league football to Championship football in his stride. Nothing suggests he will struggle in the Premier League.

However, one stumbling block in completing this transfer could be the high price that Burnley could demand given their recent promotion, but Stoke have showed a willingness to splash out in recent windows.
