Faissal El Bakhtaoui – Dunfermline Athletic

Faissal El Bakhtaoui has been a sensation for Dunfermline Athletic in the Scottish League 1 in 2015/16. Scooping up the best player award, his 22 goals in 32 games helped the Pars win the division and earn promotion into the Scottish Championship, with the French Moroccan striker netting his first ever career hat-trick against Brechin City in the process.

The forward is still only 23, and has continually improved and impressed over the last two seasons, making him one of Dunfermline’s most valuable players.

The English Championship is a step up in quality compared to leagues El Bakhtaoui has played in before, but there’s nothing to suggest he couldn’t adapt.

Norwich have a few strikers in Dieumerci Mbokani, Cameron Jerome and Kyle Lafferty when he returns from loan who have so far failed to provide the goals on a consistent basis, but could provide back up to El Bakhtaoui as he beds into the side. Nevertheless, the Saint-Tropez born striker should provide the goal scoring riches that the Canaries have been searching for this term.
