James Morrison – West Bromwich Albion
West Brom’s number seven is at the peak of his career at the age of 29, and is a solid and versatile midfield option for his current club. This term he has netted three times in 18 league appearances, working out a goal every six games for the Scottish international.
Morrison could be available for a cut price deal too since his current contract with the Baggies expires in June.
The Scottish international’s preferred position is centre midfield, but he can play with both a defensive and an attacking impetus. Since he has played at Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion, he brings with him experience of both the Premier League and the Championship, making him ideal for a promotion push next term.
Furthermore, with fellow Scotsmen Steven Naismith and Graham Dorrans who Morrison used to play with at West Brom in Alex Neil’s squad, Morrison should fit straight into the team and start producing results.
