Should Manchester City look to this Everton star as one of three summer additions?

Though the England youngster’s form has seen a major dip since the beginning of the season, one can not put all the blame on Stones. Everton have been appalling at the back this season due to Roberto Martinez’ inability to effectively organize a defense.

Stones is the perfect candidate for Guardiola’s Manchester City side because of his affinity for ball possession, comfort and experience within the premier league, and his youth and willingness to leave the Merseyside club.

Guardiola’s ability to get the best out of a team’s defensive unit is clearly visible with Bayern Munich’s league total of sixteen goals conceded this year; and that was with his best defender out for the majority of the season. Stones is a player that would greatly benefit from someone as defensively cerebral as Guardiola.
