‘Should be Willian’: Arsenal fans react to Europa League squad announcement

Arsenal fans have been reacting on Twitter today as Mikel Arteta confirmed some changes to his squad for Europa League action.

The Gunners boss has acted to swiftly remove Alex Runarsson from the fold. Meanwhile, Mat Ryan is included, while Gabriel Martinelli and new signing, Martin Odegaard, also get the nod.

Both Odegaard and Martinelli were tipped to be given the chance prior to the announcement. However, it is the quick decision to take Runarsson out which has caught the attention of fans in the main.

There was, as expected, plenty of reaction on social media to the decision by Arteta. And while some can understand the call, there were some Gunners supporters who wondered what the likes of Willian had done to deserve to remain involved.
