Wolves are among the clubs in the hunt for Southampton outcast Charlie Austin, as per the Daily Echo.
New Saints manager Ralph Hasenhuttl will not apparently stand in the way of the Englishman’s departure from St Mary’s this month, understanding his need for greater gametime.
He said: “As a player he wants to play from the beginning, and if there is not the option here, maybe he looks for another club where he has this option.
“We don’t send any player away but if there is a different option for him there could be a conversation with another club.”

There is the prospect of a deal to be done for Austin and all season, Wolves have needed a reliable backup option to Raul Jimenez, with Leo Bonatini failing to cut the mustard.
Mexican Jimenez has been a willing runner throughout the season and does lots of good work for the team, but in pure goalscoring terms, in the Premier League, Austin is a more reliable option.
He would give Wolves that option of a poacher that they do not currently have and his Southampton situation raises the prospect that any potential agreement need not cost the earth.
