It appears as though Shinji Kagawa is up for sale. The Japanese international is struggling for first-team football at Borussia Dortmund. Bild reports, as relayed by BuliNews, that the talented playmaker is available for as little as €3 million (£2.6 million).
The report also makes it clear that Kagawa wants to move to Spain, but no teams in La Liga have shown any interest so far.
So should Premier League sides signal their interest? One team who could certainly let Kagawa thrive is Southampton.

Managed by Ralph Hasenhuttl, the Austrian plays a style of football that Bundesliga regular Kagawa could thrive in.
Southampton never truly replaced Dusan Tadic in the summer and Kagawa is the type of player that could do that job. Acting as a link between midfield and attack, the former Manchester United star could be a huge hit at St Mary’s.
With the presence of his Japanese compatriot Maya Yoshida, Southampton would also have another unique selling point if trying to convince Kagawa of a move.
The 29-year-old would be an absolute bargain at £2.6 million and could give Southampton a huge boost in their hopes of Premier League survival.
