Liverpool ace Trent Alexander-Arnold has been praised by Ian Wright, who believes the Reds academy graduate is “never going to stop getting better”.
The 22-year-old is one of the Anfield setup’s greatest success stories in recent years, breaking into the first team and becoming arguably the best right-back in world football.
Since making his debut in 2016, Alexander-Arnold has racked up 147 senior competitive appearances for Liverpool, registering eight goals and 38 assists.

The full-back was instrumental as the Reds won the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League this year.
On Wednesday night, Alexander-Arnold fulfilled another lifelong ambition when he captained his boyhood club for the first time.
He wore the armband and led Liverpool out for the Champions League meeting with FC Midtjylland, playing 61 minutes en route to a 1-1 draw.
And Arsenal legend Wright couldn’t sing Alexander-Arnold’s praises highly enough.
“I swear to God, he is one of those that it’s refreshing, it’s refreshing,” he said on the Wrighty’s House podcast.
“We spoke earlier about professional, learning and what he wants to learn.
“He gives me the impression that he is never going to stop learning. He is never going to stop getting better.
“The link with the fans when he explains what it means to him to watch. It was just a privilege to be around him. Shining light he is.”
TBR View:
Alexander-Arnold’s career so far has been a pleasure to witness, a player graduating from his boyhood club’s academy and going on to become one of the best players in the world, winning major trophies and now captaining his side – and all at just 22.
It’s frightening to think he’s still quite a few years away from his peak, and who knows just how much better he can get and how many more trophies he’ll be able to get – hopefully all with Liverpool as well as with England.
