John Lundstram continued to impress in the Premier League as Sheffield United beat Everton. Lundstram provided a sublime assist for Lys Mousset to stun Everton at Goodison Park.

Sheffield United’s strong form on the road continued and it shows the commitment in Chris Wilder’s squad. Lundstram helped the Blades keep things tight and limit Everton’s attacking opportunities.

Lundstram was a bit-part player last season and Wilder rarely used him. When he did get games, the former Oxford United midfielder received plenty of criticism. It would be fair to say that a large number of Blades fans would have doubted his ability to play in the Premier League.

But he has stepped up since Sheffield United’s promotion. And it went full circle for Lundstram as he returned to Everton. The 25-year-old was born in Liverpool and came through the ranks with the Merseyside club.
