Former England international Shaun Wright-Phillips has laid into Everton striker Moise Kean over his reaction to being substituted at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Kean was subbed on and then subbed off again within 19 minutes against Manchester United but the 38-year-old took exception to his reaction.
He told Football Joe: “That situation can happen to anybody, but he shouldn’t have just walked off – no matter how upset he is. And I felt like back in the day, senior players wouldn’t allow that to happen.
“Because you’re showing a selfish mentality of ‘It’s all about me, I’m mad, so I don’t care what happens now.”

TBR’s View – Neither party covered themselves in glory
Some have criticised Ferguson for being a dinosaur and badly treating a young player like Kean, who is clearly struggling in a new country and may need managing carefully to get the best out of his talent.
Others have criticised Kean for his contribution in the game and also since he’s been at Everton – and now Wright-Phillips has hit out at his reaction.
Kean could have been more professional in terms of not storming down the tunnel. No professional would like to be subbed on then off, but as Wright-Phillips said, it can happen and there are ways to react properly.
