Liverpool prodigy Harvey Elliott delivered a dazzling performance in Wednesday night’s Premier League win over Newcastle.
Elliott joined the Reds setup in 2019, arriving as one of the most highly rated youngsters in the country.
The 19-year-old has certainly been living up to his potential, and on Wednesday, he was absolutely unplayable.

The teenager’s display against the Magpies saw numerous media outlets, journalists and pundits sing his praises.
Let’s start with some of the leading pundits in English football. Gary Lineker and Jamie Carragher, to name but two.
James Pearce of The Athletic also took to Twitter with praise for Elliott.
“Going to be an absolute sensation”
Meanwhile, numerous media outlets also joined in with praises for the Liverpool prodigy.
The Liverpool Echo gave Elliott 8 out of 10 for his efforts on the night.
“This kid is going to be an absolute sensation, for sure,” they wrote.
“Shades of a young Jack Wilshere against Barcelona as he dipped, ducked and weaved past any Newcastle shirt in sight.
“Showed brilliant control and awareness to receive the ball before providing a pre-assist for Firmino’s goal.
“Newcastle tried to kick him off the park. Failed.”

Liverpool World, meanwhile, went with 7.5 out of 10, though they were just as complimentary.
“One of the brighter players in the first half,” they wrote. “He was majestic on the ball in the build-up to Diaz’s huge chance.
“Did so much running in the second half and his shot on goal which was saved pepped Liverpool up as they equalised a minute later.”
And 90Min, like the Echo, went with 8 out of 10.
“Showed so much energy and desire to get all over the pitch,” they wrote.
“His performance buoyed the crowd where others couldn’t.”
