Arsenal are expected to let quite a few of their players leave this summer.
Andrea Berta’s focus since arriving at the Emirates has been on contract renewals and new signings, and it has to be said that he has done a good job so far.
All eyes are on attacking reinforcements now, but work has to be done on outgoings too in the coming weeks as Arsenal have many players who are surplus to requirements.
One such player is attracting interest from Spain.
Sevilla want to sign Karl Hein after Albert Sambi Lokonga
Karl Hein spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Real Valladolid.
The Estonia international is a very talented goalkeeper, and he has impressed in Arsenal’s colours during friendlies under Mikel Arteta.
While on loan last season, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was blown away by Hein after his performance against the Galacticos for Valladolid.
Hein has now returned to Arsenal from his loan spell, but there is no place for him at the Emirates anymore. A move away is the best thing for all parties, especially as he has entered the final year of his contract.
El Correo de Andalucia claim that Sevilla are interested in signing Hein, initially on a loan deal with an option to buy next season.
The report claims that the two clubs have a good relationship after working on a deal for Albert Sambi Lokonga, who has returned to the Emirates after a season on loan there.
It remains to be seen if Arsenal or Hein will accept this deal, as Sevilla only want him as a number two at the start of next season.

Arsenal should not loan out Karl Hein to Sevilla
Loaning out Hein makes no sense for Arsenal.
The goalkeeper has already entered the final year of his contract, and unless he signs an extension, sending him out on loan would mean that they would lose him for nothing in 2026.
Apart from that, Sevilla only see Hein as a number two, which means that even if he is loaned out, there’s a chance that he won’t play a game. That would further harm his transfer value.
Arsenal should explore a different move for Hein, one where they can either cash in on him now or see him increase his value for a year before they can sell him for better money next summer.
For the latter to happen, though, they must convince him to sign a new contract first.
