Seven potential Romelu Lukaku replacements for Everton this summer

Inaki Williams

Perhaps not an out-and-out striker, Williams is unlikely to be a direct replacement for Lukaku, yet a young, talented forward with his kind of quality would be hard for Everton to ignore.

Equally adept on the wing as playing through the middle, Williams is fast and powerful making him a constant threat to opposition defenders. His power is evident, reportedly knocking out Athletic Bilbao’s third choice goalkeeper, with one of his shots in training.

The son of a Ghanaian father and a Liberian mother, Williams is used to being in the spotlight from a young age, becoming the first ever black player to score for Athletic Bilbao.

He has since broke into the senior Spanish squad, making his debut against Bosnia and Herzegovina, despite being just 21 years old at the time.

Williams has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past with Everton’s rivals Liverpool, touted as potential suitors, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
