Alexandre Lacazette
Lacazette has long been linked, as earlier reports in The Guardian suggest, with a move away from Lyon and often to the Premier League.
The pacey Frenchman has only ever played for Lyon amassing 123 goals in 270 appearances for the French side, including 31 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions this season.
Lacazette would undoubtedly demand a significant transfer fee, but in this day and age to sign a player of his quality the sort of money being quoted is standard.
With Everton reportedly setting the asking price for Lukaku at £100 million, the Merseyside club would be able to afford Lacazette.
Capped 10 times by France at the age of 25, Lacazette is the sort of international quality player that would have mouths drooling at Goodison Park, fulfilling that marquee player signing that the fans have been longing for.
The competition for Lacazette’s signature would be fierce, with many of Europe’s top clubs looking at the striker. However, with Everton’s new found wealth and ambition they could be in the frame to compete for a player like Lacazette.
