Seven potential Romelu Lukaku replacements for Everton this summer
After another outstanding season, in which he has managed to amass 24 goals in the Premier League thus far, Romelu Lukaku is being linked with a move away from Everton.
It comes as no surprise that a player of the Belgian’s quality and goal scoring prowess is being linked to some of the biggest teams in Europe. Furthermore, the striker’s comments regarding his desire to play Champions League football has only served to fuel the speculation surrounding his future.
If he does move on in the summer, it leaves Everton with the unenviable task of replacing not only Lukaku’s goals, but his contribution to their game in general.
To replace the 23-year-old, like for like, would be a near impossible task, so it could be a case of replacing him by committee, signing a number of players in the hope that the goal scoring responsibility is shared amongst the team.
