Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott is being eyed by clubs in Serie A as they look to convince the youngster to move to Italy.
Parrott is currently enjoying a superb campaign over in Holland and has already scored six goals, despite starting just eight games for Excelsior.
Parrott’s future is uncertain and it remains to be seen if Ange Postecoglou is keen on integrating him into the squad.
And according to Alasdair Gold, Serie A and Championship clubs are now preparing moves to sign Parrott from Spurs.
Troy Parrott has plenty of interest
Taking to his Instagram account to give the update on Parrott, respected Tottenham journalist Gold has said that Parrott has a growing number of clubs now keen on him.
In the post, Gold mentions how Parrott remains determined to make an impression on Postecoglou but until the summer, it’s unknown how things will be.

With that in mind, clubs are starting to queue up to take Parrott, with Italian sides and teams in the Championship keen.
At the moment, Parrott’s contract expires in 2025 but Gold says Spurs do hold an option to extend that contract by another year if they wish.
Parrott, then, could be in for a big summer depending on how the next few months go.
A big decision looms
And that’s a big decision for Spurs and Parrott.
The club will need to make a right call here and hope that in the end, they don’t end up regretting losing a player they have developed over many years, only to see him become a superstar.
On the other hand, Parrott also knows he can’t just keep going on loan. He needs a home and if it’s not going to be with Spurs, a move will work.
Parrott is a ‘sensational‘ talent on his day and with the right environment like he’s found now in Holland, he could be a huge hit for whoever does sign him.
