Sergio Reguilon posts one-word reaction to Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg display in Spurs win

Sergio Reguilon has lauded Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as a warrior in a one-word reply to the Spurs midfielder on Instagram following their win over Wolves on Sunday.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side’s promising start to the campaign continued at the weekend. They put their Europa Conference League disappointment behind them and beat Bruno Lage’s side 1-0 at Molineux.

Just like the opening day, Spurs were made to work incredibly hard for the three points.

Wolves had 25 attempts on goal (Whoscored). But Tottenham secured the victory and another three points.

Hojbjerg once again impressed. No Spurs player played a greater number of accurate passes than the Dane.

Meanwhile, he also made two successful tackles, completed two successful dribbles, two clearances and one interception.

Hojbjerg picks up where he left off last season as Spurs beat Wolves

The 26-year-old was arguably one of the only players to emerge from last season with any credit. He was a key figure in the middle of the park and was lauded throughout the campaign.

And it is clear that his teammates appreciate what he does for the team as much as the supporters do.

Hojbjerg took to Instagram following the game to comment on the win. And in response, Reguilon picked arguably the perfect single word to sum the midfielder up.
