Sergio Reguilon has told Spanish outlet El Chiringuito that he has been impressed by Jose Mourinho, and insisted that he would like others to see the Tottenham Hotspur boss the way he does.
Reguilon has made an incredibly bright start to life in North London following his summer arrival. He has taken little time to establish himself in a Spurs side that appears to be improving rapidly.

Mourinho appears to have helped Tottenham place themselves as very early title contenders. They have not lost a league game since the opening day of the season. And they have won five of their last six in all competitions.
And Reguilon suggested that he has really enjoyed working under the Portuguese during the early stages of his time at Spurs.

“Mourinho impressed me a lot,” he told El Chiringuito.
“Since I was kid I really liked him, I like his intensity in training. I would like if people saw him as I see him now. He is the first to be serious and ask more from us but when it’s time to fool around, he is also the first.”
In fairness, Mourinho has arguably been as good for Tottenham as they have for him. It is surely reasonable to suggest that his reputation had taken a hit in recent years after an incredible start to his managerial career.
Similarly, Spurs needed a boost after the disappointing way Mauricio Pochettino’s tenure ended.
There is an incredibly long way to go. But there is reason for major optimism at Tottenham right now with Mourinho’s tenure seemingly turning a corner in recent months.
