Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon has made a comparison between current teammate Harry Kane and ex-teammate Karim Benzema.
Reguilon, 24, came through the academy system at Real Madrid and played alongside some of the world-class talents at the Bernabeu.
He left the La Liga giants last summer and he’s made a great start to life in the Premier League.
Reguilon has admitted that comparisons between Spurs’ centre-forward and the Madrid frontman are fair.
England captain Kane, 27, has been in sensational form this season with 21 goals and 14 assists in 31 games.
Meanwhile, 33-year-old Frenchman Benzema has scored 16 goals in just 27 games across all competitions during this campaign.
“Yes, they are very similar because they are strikers, but they play for the team. They score goals for sure, but look how many assists Kane does for [Heung-Min] Son,” Reguilon told Soccer AM.

TBR’s View:
Benzema has perhaps gone under the radar in terms of what he’s achieved in his career, but he’s been one of the top strikers in world football during the past decade and has 265 goals and counting in a Madrid shirt.
Meanwhile, Kane continues to go from strength to strength at Spurs.
The exciting thing is that Kane may only just be entering his peak years and the way his game has developed this season has been noticeable.
He’s now someone that is so vital in linking up attacks in the final third and acting as a playmaker, something that Benzema has done during his career with plenty of unselfish work off the ball and possessing a football brain on it to create.
