Aston Villa got back to winning ways on Saturday as they ran out 2-0 winners at Brighton.
Steven Gerrard’s Villans went into the game having lost their last two in the Premier League.
However, Villa bounced back with a goal in each half on the south coast.

Matty Cash opened the scoring in the 17th minute.
The 24-year-old fired home from the edge of the box after Lucas Digne’s cross was only half-cleared.
Then, in the 68th minute, Ollie Watkins made sure of all three points with Villa’s second.
Tyrone Mings sent a superb ball over the top for the striker, who duly slammed home a confident finish.
Philippe Coutinho once again produced several moments of magic for Villa, though he was unlucky not to score.
The Brazilian very nearly got what would’ve been Villa’s second on 50 minutes.
Coutinho weighed in with a free kick that had just the right amount of curl and dip to find the back of the net.
However, Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sanchez responded with a superb one-handed save right in the bottom corner.
“It is an incredible save,” Sky Sports pundit Michael Dawson said on Soccer Saturday.
Six minutes later, the former Spurs defender lauded Coutinho for an amazing contribution.
The 29-year-old weighed in with a stunning ball over the top, which Cash latched on to.

Cash nearly got another goal, but his effort across goal nicked the post and went wide.
“Cash is playing so high,” said Dawson.
“The ball is sensational from Coutinho, but Cash’s shot is just past the post.
“But we are not seeing much from Brighton…”
In the end, there wasn’t much more from the hosts, who fell to a third successive defeat without scoring.
Meanwhile, Villa climbed to 12th in the Premier League table, with 30 points from 25 games.
