A senior academy scout for a Premier League team has reportedly the club in order to join Tottenham this summer.
The north London club have some experienced some changes behind the scenes during this transfer window, with Jermain Defoe leaving Tottenham as an academy coach to further his own path to becoming a manager in the professional game.
With Tottenham also making a number of signings for the senior squad, Spurs head into the new Premier League with numerous changes that could go a long way in Ange Postecoglou finally bringing silverware back to N7.
And a top scout is now seemingly heading to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Southampton’s senior academy scout Danny Moody to join Tottenham
According to the Athletic, Tottenham have hired Danny Moody from Southampton, who for the past three years has worked with the newly-promoted Premier League side as a senior academy scout helping out with recruitment for the U-16 to U-18 age groups.
Having previously worked at Fulham and Liverpool, Moody arrives at Tottenham this summer with a good reputation from one of the best clubs in England when it comes to youth development, with Gareth Bale, Theo Walcott and James Ward-Prowse all coming through at Southampton.
With Tottenham also appointing Simon Jones from Southampton earlier this year, it’s clear that the north London side are on a youth drive of sorts behind the scenes to get the best in the business to run the academy.
And with Moody now in, Tottenham have quite a team on their hands when it comes to who is overseeing the youth ranks, with Spurs already having an impressive crop of players coming through under Postecoglou.

Tottenham are making a lot of right moves this summer
With Tottenham working around the clock to offload deadwood in the playing squad and making some smart appointments away from the pitch, it’s hard not to be impressed with what Spurs are doing this summer.
Whilst some fans might be disappointed with how last season ended, it’s clear that Tottenham have a vision under Postecoglou that they’re willing to go through with, regardless of how many windows the process might take.
And heading into the new season, Tottenham could come out better than they have been in some years, and their academy is now future-proof with these exciting technical hires behind the scenes in the likes of Moody.
