Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed a productive summer transfer window so far and their business isn’t done just yet.

Daniel Levy has been working on a number of outgoings over the last couple of weeks and now Oliver Skipp is set to depart.

Skipp is on the verge of completing a move to Leicester City with medical tests already booked for Monday.

The 23-year-old will join The Foxes on a permanent deal for a fee in excess of £20m.

Anyhow, with that said, his sale could now facilitate a move to sign a rumoured Tottenham target.

Tottenham could now accelerate move to sign Vanderson

Once the Skipp sale goes through, Tottenham could accelerate a deal to sign AS Monaco right-back Vanderson, who has been labelled as ‘exceptional’ per The Spurs News.

TBR reported on Saturday that Tottenham are in talks with Vanderson and he’s thought to be valued at around £27m.

So, Skipp’s forthcoming departure will now boost the transfer kitty and indeed free up space in Ange Postecoglou’s squad for the arrival of the 23-year-old.

It wouldn’t at all be surprising to see the Vanderson deal advance in the coming days.

Daniel Levy has done really well with Oliver Skipp sale

Levy really has pulled off a great bit of business with the Skipp sale as many felt he’d depart for much less than the quoted £20m-plus fee.

In fact, there were some reports earlier in the window which valued him at around £10m, so to get more than double that is fantastic negotiating.

Levy’s also been really efficient in bringing players in, with Dominic Solanke and Wilson Odobert both signing promptly.
