‘Selling him was a disaster’ – Everton fans react as Nikola Vlasic hits form for CSKA Moscow

Former Everton midfielder, Nikola Vlasic, got himself on the scoresheet last night for CSKA Moscow as they played rivals Lokomotiv and some Toffees fans wouldn’t mind seeing him back at Goodison.

The 22-year-old moved to CSKA from Everton back in the summer of 2019 after struggling to hold down a regular place in the Toffees squad.

Since then, Vlasic appears to have knuckled down. He has become a regular for Croatia and has begun to start featuring and contributing regularly for Moscow.

Everton Twitter account, Royal Blue Mersey, posted Vlasic’s goal last night. And the post attracted a host of comments from Toffees fans, with some calling the club out for allowing him to leave so early.

While there was a bit of a split in the comments, there were some Everton fans who wanted Vlasic back.
