'Sell him', 'Terribly overrated' - Everton fans furious at Pickford performance
Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has been heavily criticised for his performance against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday.
The England international has been prone to the occasional error this season and it proved costly yesterday.
With Everton 1-0 up in the game, Pickford and Zouma combined to allow Spurs back into the game.
A speculative long ball over the top did not look like it would cause any danger but Pickford came charging out of his box without a call to centre-back Zouma.

The 24-year-old could also have done better with Dele Alli’s goal and he also had a wild slide challenge on his England team-mate overlooked because Alli was offside.
Everton fans took to social media to vent their frustration at another poor Pickford performance.
But with little competition between the sticks, Marco Silva is forced to stick with him.
Below are what Everton fans are saying on Twitter about Pickford’s display against Tottenham Hotspur in yesterday’s 6-2 defeat at Goodison Park.

Presumably Pickford will attempt to exonerate himself by telling us he’s mentally tough and that’s just how Everton’s luck goes. #efc
