A number of Arsenal fans have given their thoughts on the SB Haber report claiming the Gunners are in talks with Besiktas over another loan stint for Mohamed Elneny.

The 28-year-old has has made just 46 appearances for the Emirates Stadium side since joining from Swiss outfit FC Basel in 2016 for a reported £7million (The Independent).

Elneny largely played a bit-part role under both Arsene Wenger and Unai Emery before being shipped out on loan to Besiktas at the start of the 2019-20 season.

Though Mikel Arteta is now Arsenal head coach, it doesn’t seem like Elneny is in his plans either, particularly since his Gunners shirt number was recently given to William Saliba.

The Egypt international scored once and claimed four assists in 36 Besiktas games last season, but as things stand, his stint finishes next Monday.

Elneny had been in dispute with the Superlig club over unpaid wages, but president Ahmet Nur Cebi said earlier this month that the differences were settled (Tribal Football).

Now, Turkish outlet SB Haber has claimed that Besiktas have begun negotiations with Arsenal over extending his loan, with coach Sergen Yalcin reportedly sure that Elneny wants to continue playing there.

However, it is also reported that Elneny has reservations about extending his time there due to the prior payment issues, with Premier League side Southampton apparently also interested in the Pharaohs ace.

Below is some of the Arsenal fan reaction on social media, with most wanting him sold as opposed to just loaned out again:
