‘Season’s over’, ‘bleak’: Some Crystal Palace fans react to concerning player news
A number of Crystal Palace fans have bemoaned the news of Wilfried Zaha’s injury.
On Friday, Roy Hodgson confirmed that the Eagles star will miss the Leeds game but could be out for “much longer”.
The 28-year-old was forced off just before the hour mark of his side’s 2-1 win at Newcastle on Tuesday.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Monday’s Premier League meeting with Leeds, Hodgson said Zaha had suffered a hamstring injury.
“We don’t know how long it’s going to keep him out,” he told the club media team. “He certainly won’t be available for this game, and it could be much longer than that.
“At the moment of course it’s the early stage of the injury and he’s still being assessed. It’s totally unrealistic to suggest he’d be ready for this game.
“You never know with these hamstring injuries, but Wilf is incredible in terms of recovery so I wouldn’t want to put a definite timeline on it.
“But it’s a muscle strain and all muscle strains take time to heal… our people are doing their level best to get him back on the field.”
Worrying news for Palace, who will now be without their main attacking star for the Leeds game and possibly beyond.
Zaha has scored nine goals in 19 games for the Eagles this season, and their record without him is not good.
On each of the three occasions this campaign in which the Ivory Coast international has been missing, Palace have lost.

Needless to say, a lot of Eagles fans on social media are concerned about the player and their season:

We have the most winable games ever coming up but of course Zaha has to get injured now we will likely lose because lets face it we are pretty useless without him.
