‘Season over’: Arsenal fans react to injury to Thomas Partey

Arsenal fans were in a bit of meltdown yesterday as new midfielder Thomas Partey picked up an injury in the loss against Aston Villa.

Partey was withdrawn by Mikel Arteta with a thigh injury said to be the issue preventing the Ghanaian staying out on the field against the impressive Villa.

A recent update from Arteta and Arsenal has suggested there is no full diagnosis on the extent of the injury as yet, and the Gunners are waiting to see what the full impact could be.

However, Arsenal fans were still in a bit of a meltdown yesterday after initially seeing the injury blow. Partey has been impressive since arriving, and his potential injury could be a big concern for the Gunners.

Those thoughts were replicated on Twitter, too, with some Arsenal fans getting into a big panic over potentially losing Partey.
