Burnley manager Sean Dyche has accepted Dwight McNeil will move to bigger and better things, with the likes of Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly interested in acquiring his services.
The electric winger has been in great form for the Clarets in 2019/20, appearing in all 17 of the club’s matches so far.
He has contributed one goal and four assists, and the 20-year-old appears to be growing in confidence week on week.

He is undoubtedly Burnley’s brightest young prospect, but Dyche is realistic about his chances of staying at Turf Moor long-term.
He said (Daily Mail): “Look, we know Dwight is a player who will certainly go beyond us – but in a positive way.
“We don’t remotely want to lose good players. But eventually, some players will outgrow the club in the sense of a bigger club coming along and buying them because of their skill set.

“Dwight is clearly a top talent. He is playing and delivering every week.
“We’re not naive enough to think it’s going to go unnoticed.”
TEAMtalk reported last month that Everton and Wolves were among the teams interested in McNeil, who is supposedly valued at around £30 million by the Clarets.
TBR’s view – Encouragement for Everton and Wolves
Dyche’s latest comments are sure to provide Everton and Wolves with some encouragement over the idea of signing McNeil.

He knows deep down that Burnley will ultimately be powerless to prevent the starlet from moving on.
It is perhaps a question of when not if, and so it will be interesting to see if any of the sides are bold enough to make a move as early as next month, rather than next summer.
