Tottenham Hotspur loanee Gareth Bale has been praised by Scott Parker, who thinks the Welshman is a special player.
Bale rejoined Spurs on loan from Real Madrid in September and, following a difficult few months back in North London, is now fully up and running.
The 31-year-old was outstanding in Tottenham’s 4-0 Premier League win over Burnley last time out, netting twice and bagging an assist.
Bale also claimed an assist in the 2-1 loss to West Ham, plus two goals and one assist in the two Europa League last-32 games against Wolfsberger.
Parker, who played alongside Bale at Spurs, will now be looking to steer his Fulham side to victory over the North Londoners at Craven Cottage on Thursday evening.
“You come up against individuals that are special,” he told the Cottagers media team.
“Gareth Bale fits that bracket. I played with him at Spurs and know too well his quality.
“As quick as you look at him, you turn your eye to Kane, Son and Ndombele. We’ll be prepared to face a very good team.”
It’s fantastic to see Bale finally up and running following a difficult few months at Spurs, the Wales international answering his critics and naysayers.
Credit to Jose Mourinho for his work in getting Bale back to this point, having also done equally well with Tanguy Ndombele and Dele Alli.
