Scott Parker has suggested that the work that Patrick Bamford does for Leeds United is incredible – in comments reported by Football London.
Fulham host the Whites at Craven Cottage on Friday. The pair played out an amazing game at the start of the campaign, with Leeds winning 4-3 at Elland Road.

Bamford was outstanding that day, scoring one and providing an assist.
His current tally stands at 13 goals and five assists in the Premier League. His form prompted many to back the 27-year-old for a debut call-up to the England squad for the upcoming international break.

Unfortunately for Bamford, Gareth Southgate had other ideas. But judging by Parker’s comments about the striker, he would have not been surprised had he received international recognition.
“The amount of chances Leeds create he’s always in that position,” he said, as reported by Football London. “Tireless work-rate and what he’s asked to do out of possession at Leeds is phenomenal really. The work he puts in is pretty incredible.
“Added to that is his goal record and him scoring goals which has been very good this year. A step up for him, I know he’s scored goals in the Championship for some time for different clubs but now showing his quality in the big league.”
TBR View: England snub may be bad news for Fulham
Fulham may not relish facing Bamford following his snub from Southgate. The Leeds striker – who earns £35,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – will surely be desperate to prove a massive point.
He had to silence his doubters upon the Whites’ promotion to the Premier League. And he has done that emphatically.
If he feels just as motivated after missing out on the England squad, the Cottagers could be in for a very tough evening on Friday.
