Rangers and Celtic fans appear to have been pleasantly surprised by confirmation of the date and time for their Scottish Cup meeting.
When Celtic were drawn away against either Rangers or Cove Rangers, there were two assumptions made.
Firstly, it would probably be the Rangers side from Glasgow who they would be facing.
Secondly, the tie would be a lunchtime kick off, and probably on Sunday.
While they were indeed correct about Steven Gerrard’s men qualifying, it was confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that the match will be kicking off at 4pm on Saturday April 17.
The fourth round tie will be televised by Premier Sports, who will also be showing Aberdeen v Livingston at 2pm on Sunday April 18.
Rangers reached this stage with a 4-0 win over Cove at Ibrox, while Celtic disposed of Falkirk with a 3-0 win.
These Rangers and Celtic supporters are already looking forward to April 17.
