Liverpool will have been alerted this weekend after VFB Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic admitted he is a big fan of the club.
The Austrian striker has been in fine form for Stuttgart this season. He’s hit an impressive 12 goals in just 23 league games and has already won caps for the Austrian national team.
Liverpool are said to be in the market for a new forward this summer. The likes of Roberto Firmino have struggled for goals this term, meaning Jurgen Klopp could be on the lookout for a new number nine.

And Kalajdzic, speaking to Bild, admits he would find it hard to resist a move to Anfield if one was to come about after being inspired by Steven Gerrard’s 2005 Champions League winning Reds.
“I feel completely at home at [Stuttgart], but it would be a really tough decision [to join Liverpool] because I really like Liverpool,” the Austrian ace said.
“This club is simply special to me. When I was a kid, I saw the Champions League final in 2005 when Liverpool came back from 3-0 down against Milan to win. That gripped me. The last time I went to a Liverpool game with my brother, I really kitted myself out: I bought myself a scarf, jersey, cap and a mug.”
There have been no signs of any interest from the Reds yet, so this, of course, is purely speculative. However, Jurgen Klopp may well perk up a bit given Kalajdzic’s comments, especially if he feels he can produce in the Premier League.
TBR View: Kalajdzic has potential and is one to keep an eye on
A lot of the time, players will say they are fans of a certain club but in reality, they might never get that move. But with Kalajdzic, he does actually look the part and may well find himself in the PL before long.
Goals, good movement, and young enough to improve further under Klopp, Kalajdzic could well prove a smart signing.
