Sandro Ramirez has posted on Twitter after it was confirmed he had agreed a move to join Spanish La Liga side Huesca on a permanent deal, finally ending his Everton nightmare.
Ramirez, 25, joined Everton in the summer of 2017 after an excellent season with Malaga. He scored 16 goals throughout 2016-17 for Malaga after joining them from Barcelona, where he came through the La Masia academy to play 32 times.
However, Ramirez – who signed a four-year £65,000-a-week contract (Spotrac) with Everton after a £5.2million (BBC) move from Malaga – managed just 16 senior outings for Everton, scoring only one goal. He has since been on loan three times.
He joined Sevilla for the second half of his first season at Everton, and then joined Real Sociedad for the 2018-19 campaign. Real Valladolid came next in 2019-20. He managed 70 appearances for all three clubs – scoring just four goals.

That dismal amount of goals saw Ramirez plummet down the pecking order and with a year remaining on his contract, Everton have allowed the Spaniard to leave on a free transfer. He has joined SD Huesca on a three-year contract.
It is a move that sees Ramirez join the sixth La Liga side of his career and he will certainly be hoping to resurrect the form that earned him a move to Everton in the first place. He posted on Twitter to confirm his move.
His Tweet is translated as: “Ready to face this new challenge with enthusiasm and confidence. You have to give everything without rebelling for this shirt. #VamosHuesca.”
