Sanchez Watt says it 'would be legendary' if Arsenal signed Tottenham star

Sanchez Watt has taken to Twitter to suggest a possible return to Arsenal for Tottenham striker Harry Kane – claiming a move ‘would be legendary’.

Kane, 28, continues to be linked with an exit. While a move to Manchester City fell through in the summer, his long-term future is in doubt.

January seems an unlikely time to leave Spurs, but next summer, he is expected to go. Whether that is to Manchester City, remains to be seen.

Speculation over his future seems to be affecting Kane on the pitch. He has failed to score or register an assist in the Premier League as of yet.

Of course, all those of an Arsenal and Tottenham persuasion will have seen pictures of Kane in an Arsenal shirt as a boy – starting off in their academy.

Now, ex-Arsenal man Watt has looked to stir the pot – by saying it “would be legendary” if Arsenal signed Kane from Tottenham, days after the NLD.

Watt on Tottenham star Kane: Arsenal move no chance…

Arsenal are certainly one of the Premier League clubs who could probably afford Kane. But the Emirates is the last place Kane will end up.

Ultimately, Kane has too much respect to Tottenham to join Arsenal. Plus, they lack Champions League football and any title ambitions.

The England skipper needs to join Manchester City – even Chelsea would be too much of a rival to join from Spurs. City, or he stays at Spurs.

Certainly, he will not be joining Arsenal – even despite his past – as Watt suggests. Time will tell, in regards to him actually going, or not.
