West Ham will be without Samir Nasri on Monday night when they host Premier League leaders Liverpool at the London Stadium.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini confirmed (official website) that the 31-year-old is still sidelined and will need another week before returning to action.
The attacking midfielder has missed the last two fixture with a calf problem and the Hammers are going to miss his presence against Liverpool.
But Nasri’s absence can come as no surprise to Pellegrini, as the club knew the risk they were taking when they signed him.

Nasri arrived at West Ham on 31 December 2018 on a short-term deal for the rest of the season and was a free agent.
The Frenchman has unfortunately been plagued with numerous injury setbacks throughout his career and the likelihood is that was going to be no different moving forward.
He has impressed in a West Ham shirt so far with bright performances in the Premier League against Arsenal and Bournemouth, while he also featured in the FA Cup against Birmingham.
But Nasri’s injury problems have already struck once this campaign and he’s not the type of player the manager can bank on every game week.
There are a number of injury problems within the West Ham squad to key players and it could be a tough second half of the season for them.
