Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish can break into the England setup and earn a place in Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2020 squad.
That is the view of former Three Lions boss Sam Allardyce, who was assessing the state of play on talkSPORT this morning.

Grealish has been in fine form for Villa following their promotion back to the Premier League, and there has been a lot of clamour from fans for him to get some international recognition.
Southgate has an array of talented midfield players on his hands though and has so far resisted temptation regarding the uncapped Grealish.
In the eyes of Allardyce though, the 24-year-old talent should be selected for next summer’s tournament, which is to be hosted in multiple countries across the continent.

He said: “We talk about English players can’t open the door in the final third, and Jack Grealish is the man for me.
“This lad seems to be oozing, oozing class in the Premier League.
“It’s been so long he got there, and now he is there, it looks like it hasn’t phased him at all.
TBR’s view – Grealish has every chance
Every England fan should hope Grealish can continue his good form.

He has qualities that few of England’s other midfielders have, and he stands a great chance of getting a seat on the plane if he can get a great season under his belt.
One has to imagine it won’t be long before he gets a call-up – from there, it’ll just be about him keeping on making an impact for Villa.
