Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has lauded Reds teammate Diogo Jota, in conversation with Soccer AM.
The 25-year-old hit the ground running at Liverpool following his move to Anfield in 2020.
Jota registered five goals in his first nine Premier League appearances for the Reds.

He also scored four in his first three Champions League games, including a hat-trick against Atalanta.
Sadly, Jota spent over two months on the sidelines with a knee injury between December and February.
A foot injury also restricted him to just one minute of action in Liverpool’s last three league games of the season.
It was a strange season at Anfield, with so many key players out through injury during the course of the campaign.
Now, Liverpool are back to their best, and Jota has gone up a level.
This season, the Portugal international has 10 goals from 17 Premier League games, and 12 in all competitions.
“I will ask him”
Unlike many players, Jota can play with both feet at an extremely high level.
Mane admits he’s still unsure which is his teammate’s favourite foot.

“Until now, I don’t know if he’s right or left-footed,” he told Soccer AM after finding out Jota was FIFA 22’s Liverpool player with the strongest weak foot.
“Today I will ask him if he’s playing right or left foot. I don’t know which foot is more comfortable!”
Mane then spoke of the impact Jota has had since arriving at Liverpool.
“When he came, he fit in the squad, showed how good he is and how lucky we are,” he added.
“Having Jota last year, he helped us a lot. We got many more points when we were all struggling – especially miself.
“He was scoring many goals and is still showing this year, scoring goals – we’re lucky to have him.”
