Some Tottenham Hotspur fans were feeling relieved after Alasdair Gold confirmed that the club will not be hosting the Champions League final at their stadium or were in talks over doing so.

The country hosting this year’s showpiece event has been placed on the UK government’s red list, meaning anyone travelling back from the area will have to quarantine in a hotel
There has been calls from government officials to host the final in England given that both of the finalists are from the country. Reports have confirmed that UEFA and the FA are in talks over moving the final to the British Isles.
