Ryan Sessegnon was an extremely exiting signing for Tottenham back in the summer, as he joined for £25million (BBC) from Fulham.
The 19-year-old is a teenage talent that arrived at Spurs with a stack of experience already under his belt, after breaking into the Fulham age at a young age and he left Craven Cottage with 120 senior appearances for them.
His reputation has been growing as an exciting left-winger, with some even making a comparison to Gareth Bale.
Sessegnon was frustrated by a hamstring injury in the opening months of his Spurs season, but has been involved in the last eight weeks around the first-team.
The England Under-21 international has shown in glimpses the player fans are expecting to see, but in truth he still needs to come out of his shell.
It’s understandable that the teenager will need time to adapt to his new surroundings and new teammates, but he’s an important investment that needs to seize his opportunity.

Sessegnon has played eight first-team games across all competitions so far this season and started the last three Premier League matches in succession.
The speed machine has got an opportunity under Jose Mourinho due to some help from injuries, but he is failing to hit top form and it looks like he’s holding it back.
He has shown on his day he’s a vibrant winger that can terrorise full-backs with his pace and dribbling, but there has been very little of that this season.
Sessegnon may now be playing at a bigger club, but it’s no reason not to be expressive on the ball and he needs to stick to the roots that got him a big transfer.
There is a risk he could be stuck as a squad player if he continues to play it safe and doesn’t really catch Mourinho’s eyes.
