Ryan Sessegnon has rocked Fulham by telling them that he won’t be signing an extension to his current deal, according to The Guardian.
The Cottagers star was part of the squad relegated from the Premier League during 2018/19 and is not seeking an immediate return to the top-flight.
It is thought that Sessegnon has his heart set on a move to Spurs, although there could be some bartering to take place over the fee involved.
The Guardian piece suggests that Fulham want £45 million for the 19-year-old, although Spurs won’t go above £25 million.

Sessegnon has played over 100 times for the Cottagers, despite his tender years and it already an England Under-21 international.
Mauricio Pochettino is a master when it comes to getting the best out of younger players and it is little surprise that the Fulham man is keen to head to North London.
TBR Verdict
Fulham could play a risky game if they choose to demand £45 million for Sessegnon.
Spurs could well decide to wait until next summer if they can’t land their target for £25 million now.

Losing Sessegnon on a free would be disastrous and Fulham must seriously consider any advances from Spurs.
Tottenham would be getting themselves a fine young player. Sessegnon proved a massive hit during the Cottagers’ promotion campaign of 2017/18 and there is lots of time for him to improve.
Pochettino has proved his worth at working with young players and he could be the perfect manager for the 19-year-old’s development.
