Spurs came away from Everton with a 2-2 draw last night as a Harry Kane double ensured they took a share of the spoils on Merseyside.
Kane’s lethal finishing was firmly on display as he showcased his talents inside the 18 yard box with two brilliant and sharp pieces of work to ensure Jose Mourinho lived to fight another day for now.
It’s become abundantly clear that Kane is simply indispensable to Spurs. His performances, goals, and sheer presence in the line up ensure that they are a completely different side when he plays.
And among those to sing his praises last night was former Spurs midfielder, Ryan Mason. The former Tottenham favourite was forced to retire when a cruel head injury cut short his career. But he took to Twitter last night to issue a blunt, three-word assessment of Harry Kane.
Harry Kane. Say no more.

Kane’s goals and the way he took them did leave you with that feeling that there is simply nothing else you can say at this moment.
TBR View: Kane is just getting better and better, Spurs cannot afford to lose him
Just when you think Kane has shown you everything, he pulls out the sort of goals he did last night.
Both efforts were from minor defensive errors but Kane just punished them brutally. His first was a two-touch masterclass, while his second was an example of a striker in fine form who simply knows where the net is.
Mason’s summary of Kane is bang on. At times, he literally leaves you with very little to say. You simply have to sit back and admire it.
