Ryan Mason and Pascal Chimbonda post three-word Instagram verdict as Tottenham beat Brentford

Tottenham secured a solid 2-0 win over Brentford on Thursday – and both Ryan Mason and Pascal Chimbonda have posted three-word verdicts.

Spurs came into the game having their clash against Burnley on Sunday cancelled, meaning their last result was the 2-1 defeat to NS Mura.

They opened the scoring when Son Heung-min curled a delightful cross into the box, only for Pontus Jansson to head against Sergi Canos into the net.

Spurs fans were made to wait for the second, but a delightful move in the second half involving Harry Kane and Sergio Reguilon saw Son tap home.

A comfortable win for Spurs despite the threat of Ivan Toney and Bryan Mbuemo. First-team coach Mason posted a message on Instagram.

And, it is Norwich City next. Antonio Conte will surely be expecting his side to make it 10 from 12 come this weekend’s outing, at Carrow Road.

Now with a game in hand over fifth-placed Arsenal and fourth-placed West Ham, Spurs are only two points behind the Hammers.

While Conte is still working things out at Spurs, they still remain in the hunt for a top-four finish. A couple of January signings could make that happen.

Ex-Tottenham defender Chimbonda also gave his verdict on the win over Brentford – responding to a Spurs post with a three-word comment.
