Tottenham striker Richarlison danced his way into the quarter finals of the World Cup with Brazil tonight but Roy Keane was far from happy with him.
Richarlison got his name on the scoresheet once again. The Spurs ace got the third goal as the Selecao raced into a four goal lead to kill off South Korea’s slim hopes before they even got going.
However, ever the Christmas Grinch, Roy Keane was on hand to put a dampener on things. The former Man United skipper was unhappy with Richarlison’s dancing celebration. In particular, he was annoyed at the Brazil manager Tite getting involved.

Speaking in the studio for ITV Sport, Keane lambasted Richarlison and his Brazilian teammates.
“I’ve never seen so much dancing. It’s like watching Strictly! I can’t believe what I’m watching,” Keane said.
“I don’t like this, he’s made the point about culture but I think that’s disrespecting the opposition. I don’t mind the first kind of jig, it’s the one after that and then the manager getting involved with it. I’m not happy with it, it’s not good at all.”
Richarlison keeps himself in contention for the Golden Boot. At the moment Kylian Mbappe is the man out in front.
TBR’s View: Keane pulling no punches once again
We’ve seen this all the time from the Brazilian team in this World Cup we can always rely on good old Roy Keane to put them in their place.
It was just harmless fun from Richarlison and his mates, of course. But Keane isn’t a fan of it and he does have a point in that it seemed a bit off getting the management involved.
But, at the end of the day, Richarlison and Brazil won’t care. It was an easy night, a statement win, and another step towards World Cup glory.
