Roy Keane has told Sky Sports (broadcast on 11/4; 19:14) that he would not be at all unhappy if Manchester United brought in Harry Kane as he spoke in the wake of their victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Kane’s future remains up in the air heading into the summer. According to Sky Sports, he is set to ask to leave should Tottenham fail to make the Champions League.

Unfortunately for Spurs fans, their hopes of reaching the top four were dealt a major blow as they were beaten by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men in North London.
That leaves Jose Mourinho’s side six points off the Champions League spots.
Keane was asked after the game whether United need a new striker whether Cavani stays or goes. He went on to suggest that he would be happy if the Spurs talisman ended up at Old Trafford – before making an intriguing claim.

“United, if they want to get back to winning titles, they certainly need another striker,” he told Sky Sports.
“Kane, Haaland, I’d take any of them,” he added, when asked to name who he would like his old side to sign, before going on to suggest who he would prefer.
“Probably Haaland because of his age and the investment behind it. But I wouldn’t say no to Kane either if he was the second option.”
“I think Kane fancies United, I just have that feeling,” he would later add.
Tottenham still have an opportunity to enjoy a positive end to the season. Admittedly, they only stand an outside chance of making the top four. But it is still possible.
Meanwhile, they also have the Carabao Cup final ahead.
But even if they achieve success on those two fronts, questions will have to be asked about whether Spurs are moving in the right direction while Mourinho is at the helm.
It has been a bleak season for Tottenham. And Kane may fear that staying any longer is too great a gamble.
