Roy Keane loved Phil Foden’s performance for England.
The Manchester City man was incredible during the 5-0 Saturday win.
Foden played in a much deeper role than he usually does for England and he pulled all of the strings.
Playing on the left of the midfield three, Foden was incredible and picked up an assist as he laid on Bukayo Saka’s goal.
His performance from that deeper role had Roy Keane purring after the game.
Keane compared the Manchester City man to the NFL’s Tom Brady and claimed that Foden makes things look so easy.

Speaking on ITV after the game, Keane said:
“I love my American Football and Foden has been like a top quarter-back.”
“He’s been like Tom Brady. He’s just picking people out. He’s got runners and he’s got wide-receivers. He’s making it look so easy.”
“He’s been maturing well over the last year and he’s been playing most weeks for Man City.”
“He’s playing in big games most weeks and in the top competition in Europe”
It’s impossible not to marvel at the 21-year-old.
Foden was incredible against Andorra.
He made three key passes on the night on top of his assist, completed all of his ten long balls and completed all of his five dribbles (FotMob).
Manchester City are truly blessed to have such an impressive youngster come through their academy.
Foden will be a top asset for club and country for years to come.
Keane clearly rates him and has a lot of time for him as a player.
Gaining the approval of the former Old Trafford captain is not easy, yet Foden with all of his talent has managed it.
All that he has to do now is start adding goals to his game when he plays for the national team.
