Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane has claimed that Manchester City will do the business and pip Liverpool to the Premier League title this season.
City and Liverpool are neck and neck heading into crunch time in the campaign. Both teams are being relentless in their nature of picking up results, with both picking up three points again this weekend. The pair are also Champions League semi-finalists, and could well meet again in that competition too.

However, while some are backing Liverpool to finally hunt City down, former Manchester United man Keane believes that Pep Guardiola’s side will have the last laugh in the end.
“I can’t change my mind. I still think that City will do it. I think they’ve got great quality. I think Liverpool are fantastic of course. But I’ll stick with City, I just think they know how to get over the line. Pep, world class manager, I think they’ll do it,” Keane said ahead of tonight’s Monday Night Football. (football daily)
Keane has been adamant all year that City will get there. However, Liverpool have been outstanding of late and just keep on piling the pressure on.
TBR’s View: One Mistake Will Change It All For City And Liverpool
Nerves will start to kick in now and City and Liverpool’s players will know that one little error could be huge.
Keane has a good point about City here though. They’ve been here more than once and know how to win titles, so that could count for a lot. Of course, both sides could end up winning everything, so Liverpool could still have a successful season.
Regardless of the outcome, both teams are outstanding and City and Liverpool can hold their heads high. Keane probably doesn’t care who wins, but he’s a man of his word, and seems to have stuck by it here.
