Manchester United took on Arsenal in the Premier League, with the Red Devils losing 1-0 to the Gunners in the Premier League.
It wasn’t necessarily a result that justified the performance. Manchester United were on top for a lot of the fixture, and did look excellent against Arsenal.
However, it was Mikel Arteta’s side who prevailed. Amid an Altay Bayindir error, it was a Riccardo Calafiori strike that made the difference on the night.

Roy Keane slammed Bayindir’s error, but he was quick to praise one of Manchester United’s new signings.
Roy Keane praises Matheus Cunha
Speaking pre-match to Sky Sports, Keane gave praise to Brazilian summer signing Matheus Cunha, stating that he believes he’ll be a very good signing for Manchester United.
“Yeah, you would hope he will do well,” Keane begins. “He was great at Wolves, but now it’s a big challenge. Now, we know he could deal with the demands of the Premier League, but then the demands are playing for Manchester United and turning up every week.
“We know he’s a goal threat, he’s a good ball carrier. He can go past people. We can see he’s a big, strong boy. The importance in terms of set pieces – he can stretch teams. I think it’s a good fit for United.
“They need a bit more energy in players, more dynamic in the top half of the pitch, you know, the amount of goals. So I think it’s a good signing.”
Roy Keane is always reluctant to give positive affirmation to players, so Cunha can consider himself lucky about the verdict on Amorim’s new man.
Cunha didn’t score against Arsenal, but did look dangerous throughout. Once he gets one at Old Trafford, the goals will surely come flooding in for the former Wolverhampton Wanderers forward.

Daniel Sturridge also lauds Cunha
Former Liverpool and Manchester City striker Daniel Sturridge also praised United’s new man before kick-off.
He said: “He is a top attacker, somebody who’s going to bring goals, dynamism, speed on the ball, and dribbling as well.
“I think he’s a player who can create goals, and he’s going to take his shots and score his goals himself. Very excited to see him in a United shirt and see what he brings in that right channel.”
United take on Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon – can Cunha get off the mark for the Red Devils?
