Brazilian legend Ronaldo has now sent a six-word message to Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison on Instagram after meeting him for the first time.

Richarlison is still finding his feet under Antonio Conte at Spurs but he’s been Brazil’s main man at the World Cup.

The 25-year-old has bagged three goals in as many appearances for Tite’s side, including two contenders for the goal of the tournament.

The Spurs forward got on the scoresheet as Brazil thrashed South Korea 4-1 on Monday night, finishing off a brilliant team goal.

It was a memorable night for the former Toffees striker but it got even better as he met his idol in Ronaldo. And now the Brazil legend has told Richalrison that it was an honor to meet him after Monday’s game.

Ronaldo sends message to Richarlison

Richarlison posted on Instagram last night to express his delight at meeting his idol.

He wrote: “One of the happiest days of my life! Besides the qualification, one more goal in the Cup, I still have the chance to meet and exchange ideas with one of my biggest idols… Not even in my wildest dreams did I imagine a day like this. Thank you Ronaldo!”

The Brazil legend has responded beneath the post and admitted that he was delighted to meet the Spurs man.

“An honor to be with you!,” Ronaldo wrote.

TNT Sports Brazil captured the moment Richarlison met Ronaldo and the Spurs star looked absolutely delighted.

Ronaldo is arguably one of the best Brazilian players of all time and Richarlison has paid homage to him in the past, including by imitating his famous haircut at one point.

The Spurs star is now making his mark on the biggest stage and will be hoping to replicate what Ronaldo achieved with Brazil – by lifting the World Cup this month.

Richarlison is in lethal goalscoring form for Tite’s side and has bagged seven goals in his last six appearances.

The Brazilian side face a sterner test in Croatia on Friday but they showed exactly why they’re favourites to win the tournament against South Korea this week.
