Leeds United star, Raphinha, has been one of the big success stories of 2020/21 and he seems to have a new fan in Brazilian legend, Ronaldinho.

The winger has been in exceptional form for Leeds this term. Since arriving in the summer, he’s lit up Elland Road and beyond with a series of mesmerising displays for Marcelo Bielsa’s men.

Other clubs are said to be watching Raphinha, with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United both sitting up and taking note.

And taking note across the other side of the globe seems to be former Barcelona and Brazil star, Ronaldinho. Raphinha shared on his Instagram story today pictures of Ronaldinho posing with – and looking delighted with – a Raphinha Leeds shirt.

Ronaldinho knows a player when he sees one and has clearly been keeping a watchful eye on proceedings over at Elland Road.

The Brazilian superstar seems delighted with that he’s received. Raphinha, meanwhile, also seems to be pleased with the outcome. After all, it’s not every day one of the world’s greatest ever players seem to marvel at receiving your shirt.

Raphinha will be hoping to get back into the swing of things for Leeds soon enough. He has missed the last couple of games, with Marcelo Bielsa confirming today he’ll also miss this weekend’s game with Brighton.

At least, then, the Leeds star has something to keep his spirits up for now!
